Alternative uses for PVC Pipe – Creative Ways to Upcycle

PVC pipes, they are everywhere and pretty inexpensive, AND they make a great item for some DIY projects. Please note that these are not MY ideas, I am piggybacking off of other sites because they are awesome!


PVC Chicken Feeder: From http://www.instructables.com/

What you need:

-3” diameter pipe: 20 inches long. Or more. Or less.2015-02-25_09h45_32
-3” diameter pipe: 6 inches long
-3” diameter pipe: 3 inches long
-45-degree “Y” connector
-Teo 3” PVC caps

-Hacksaw
-PVC cement

  • 3 feet – 3/4″ PIPE
  • 2.5 FEET – 1/2″ PIPE
  • 2 – PVC TEES 3/4″ x 3/4″ x 3/4″
  • 1 – PVC TEE 1/2″ x 3/4″ x 3/4″
  • 1 – 90 DEGREE PVC ELBOW 3/4″ to 1/2″
  • 3 – PVC CAPS
  • 1- Bottle water-resistant blue glue
